The Hamilton, formerly Hamilton on the Bay, is one of Miami’s iconic buildings which once made up Miami’s “original” skyline. The Hamilton’s characteristic staggered architecture was inspired by cruise ships as dreamed up by developer and Carnaval Cruise line founder, Ted Arison in 1984, still stands out despite the towering modern spires arising in the booming Edgewater Biscayne neighborhood in Miami.
This redevelopment project included the complete redesign of the Lobby, Club Room, Restrooms, Gym, Common Co-working Breezeways, Pool Deck and addition of a newly designed Bayside Deck- all designed with a consistent coastal beachy feel- a hybrid Miami-meets-Montauk.
Ipe lined breezeways, a fresh coat of neutral paints, and lush landscaping and planters compliment the midcentury modern architecture while bringing a new life to the property.
